Terms & conditions
Effective date: 16 October 2025
These terms explain how we provide our products and services. They apply to purchases on parisandchaya.com and do not affect your statutory rights.
Who we are

Placing an order & our acceptance
Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send an order confirmation email; only then is a contract formed. If we cannot accept an order (for example: stock, payment authorisation, pricing or description error, or inappropriate personalisation), we’ll cancel and refund you.
Prices & payment
Prices are shown at checkout and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges (if any) are shown before you pay. We do not store card details; payments are processed securely by our payment providers.
Personalisation & changes
We make products to order. Please check your personalisation carefully. Once production starts, changes and cancellations are usually not possible. If a design proof is needed, we’ll begin production after you approve it.
Delivery & risk
UK delivery: Free UK Delivery. Dispatch is typically 3–5 working days after production. If a design proof is needed, production starts once you approve the final design.
Unless we agree a different timeframe with you, we will deliver without undue delay and within 30 days of the contract date. Risk passes to you when the goods are delivered to you (or your nominee). If delivery is delayed by events outside our control, we’ll contact you and take reasonable steps to reduce the delay.
Right to cancel (distance sales for non-personalised goods only)
For non-personalised goods bought online, you may cancel within 14 days of delivery. Please notify us first. Return the goods within the next 14 days, unused and in original packaging. We’ll refund the product price and the standard delivery cost within 14 days of receiving the returned goods (or evidence of return).
Personalised or made-to-order items are excluded from the 14-day cancellation rights. This doesn’t affect your rights if an item is faulty, damaged or not as described.
Faults & your legal rights
If a product is faulty or misdescribed, contact us. You have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including a 30-day short-term right to reject faulty goods for a refund, or a repair or replacement. If a repair or replacement isn’t successful, you may be entitled to a price reduction or final right to reject. We’ll act promptly and fairly.
Age-restricted items
We do not sell alcohol. If we ever offer age-restricted items, we will verify age and follow UK law.
Batteries & recycling (if applicable)
Some items may include batteries. Do not dispose of batteries in household waste. Please use local recycling facilities or collection points in line with UK guidance.
Liability
We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so (for example, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence). We are not responsible for losses we could not reasonably foresee. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
Complaints & ADR
If you have a complaint, please contact us and we’ll try to resolve it quickly. We’re not obliged to use alternative dispute resolution (ADR) but, if your complaint remains unresolved after our internal process, we will provide the name and website of an approved ADR entity and say whether we will engage with them.
Governing law
These terms are governed by English law and disputes are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
